Sound
What is Didjeridoo sound Remedy?
Each physical and energetic area of the body has its own natural resonating frequency. Some people can recognize a person by their frequency. If you are quiet and in a meditative state you can hear your or someone else's vibrational frequency. When a person is ill these natural frequencies are altered and function less efficiently. Sound remedy allows for those frequencies to "reset" themselves and return to their natural state. Using several didjeridoos to produce various tones, specific areas of the body can be focused on and reset. This has been compared to a sort of acupuncture (with just the sound, of course).
What is a didjeridoo
What does this "doo" for me?
Research carried out by several doctors, acupuncturists, kinesiologists, physiotherapists, naturopaths, alternative therapists and biologists have shown the didjeridoo to have powerful effects on the human energy system. These effects are caused by the vibration of the didjeridoo, which can be as low as 4 Hz alpha and theta waves in your brain (those experienced when one is in REM sleep) run at 4 - 8 Hz and 8 - 13 Hz, respectively. Listening to the didjeridoo in a comfortable atmosphere helps the brain move into these states of sleep while one is still awake. This produces a meditative dreamtime that can assist with creative imagery and stronger awareness of one's body. Sound and the acupuncture system
There appear to be two entirely separate systems through which the body receives sound. Obviously one is the ears. The other is the acupuncture system. The body has hundreds of acupuncture points and many of them, especially those that are called the first tonification points for each meridian, are sound receptors. The acupuncture system is intimately connected with the autonomic nervous system, and the sounds picked up by the acupuncture system enable us to be more closely attuned to the environment. The didjeridoo also has a powerful effect on the acupuncture system. One reason for this is the piezo-electric quality of skin and subcutaneous tissue. When a material with piezo-electric qualities that is struck or stressed in any way, it generates an electro-magnetic pulse. Researchers have found that skin, subcutaneous tissue, tendons and bones all have piezo-electric qualities. That means sound vibrations hitting the skin tissue, which enter the acupuncture points, and then the meridian system the energy stimulates the acupoint, causing it to activate. The acupuncture and meridians points need to be stimulated with the right frequencies in order to keep them in balance. We use the didjeridoo and spirit to locate the points to activated them sequentially to alter the participant's state of consciousness and to clear energy blockages. By playing the didjeridoo over a acupuncture point will stimulate a particular organ and other times we would play directly onto the body by following our intuition as to which way we should work. The Chakra System The didjeridoo also works on the Chakra system. There are seven major
Chakra's in the body. When a didjeridoo is played in specific key, the
chakra that resonates with that Key will open and release unwanted
RECEIVE *Stronger awareness
*Inner Guidance *Heightened intuition *Oneness with the body.
By sitting on a special chair you close your eyes and relax and feel the vibration of the didjeridoo. After some time you may experience entering a tunnel and eventually emerge in some kind of landscape. You will experience a series of dream-like images which will last anywhere between 20 - 30 minutes.
